Is it unusual to have a favorite tree? This is mine. It is located on the grounds of the Los Angeles, California Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I don't even know the kind of tree it is. (Next time I go to Los Angeles, I will attempt to uncover more facts about its origin.) Yet, it is a grand old tree with a magnificent trunk and branches. It has been a favorite setting for pictures of the California grandchildren ever since I first discovered it.
