My father at the St. George Temple. His last few good hours, fittingly, were spent at a temple witnessing the wedding of one of his grand children.

This is where it began

This photo shows the very place where Lorrie and I first met some 43 years ago. As our granddaughter says: "It was your lucky day."

Sun Stone

I found this old photo of one of the original Sun Stones from the original Nauvoo Temple. I was impressed by the skill of the stone masons who chiseled the features of this piece. I wondered who made the design and developed the features for the face.

Are you sure? This and the following photograph illustrate that sometimes you capture something in a photograph that you did not notice when you snapped the photograph. Do you see the killer whale in the foreground?

I discovered this little worm on the underside of a leaf when I cropped a photograph of a grouping of yellow flowers to focus in on the unusual leaf of the plant.
