For me, the Corner Bakery is, after family, the best part of Pasadena, California. When St. Louis is freezing, you can enjoy a nice morning outside in Pasadena with a bowl of oatmeal from the Corner Bakery.

They saw the star and recognized it as a prophecy fulfilled. The Christ child had been born. They followed the star and journeyed from afar to the city long foretold as His birthplace. They brought gifts.

What gift can I offer to the Lord and Creator of heaven and earth? He asks from me no tangible gift, rather an attitudinal change - a humble heart and a spirit more submissive to His will and example.
