Red Wing Blackbird

I have attempted to photograph the red wing blackbird a number of times over the years. This is the first time that I have been able to catch a glimmer of light reflecting from the bird's dark eye so that the eye surrounded by the black background is visible. Notice how his feet are clinging to the strand of barbed wire. This species is one of our favorite birds.
