Cactus

ANSWER: After intense research and debate, all are wrong. The correct answer is the resort island of Aruba located 15 miles off the coast of Venezuela. I was very surprised to find Aruba very much a desert-type of climate. I thought that all of the Caribbean Islands would be lush jungle-like pieces of paradise. Not Aruba. It is a very arrid island where these  cactus and huge boulders cover the landscape inland from the beach-front resorts.

I have not the slightest idea. Tried to make out what's going on far in the distance--the building or structure, but that's not helping either... I'm going to take a stab and say Cabo San Lucas, nothing more specific, but I know going to be wrong :)

I am going to take an ever broader guess and say Utah. :-)

I don't think you'd find cactus like that in Utah... According to my research, it's an organ cactus. Further research indicates, and I could be wrong, "They are found only in the southwestern corner of Arizona, northern Mexico, and a few other, widely scattered locations."

I guess Nevada from the wedding last year. And that was BEFORE reading Ben's comment.

Research? Really Ben???

Yes. Research. But as you can see, I gambled first and did my research last. Oops. That's alright, though. Research tends to only prove what you want it to prove. Half the time, it's just words on paper. Or on Google. :)

Okay, I will guess it was taken on a desert island. Or was it a desereted island. Either way I remember it well, because they also had large eggs.
