At this time of year in Missouri, the flower, Queen Anne's Lace, abounds. It is a beautiful flower with dozens of little, pure white blossoms making up this single flower. From the top it looks like a mat of delicately knit white lace. But, because of the whiteness of the flower it is difficult to photograph from the top of the flower with good results. Hence, the photograph from the ground up perspective.
